Starting in 2022, we starting down our journey to develop a cocktail program that is fun and approachable. We have a liquor collection that surpasses any establishment in town. We juice our own lemons and limes, and make all our syrups in house. We make an effort to include local spirits, and when the weather warms in Albany we use local fruits and herbs.
We release a new set of cocktails four times a year to showcase local and experimental flavors
We infused Sweet Vermouth and Campari with Toasted pecans and cocoa nibs to make this Boulevardier as rich as a warm slice of chocolate pecan pie.
(Belfour Pecan-Aged Bourbon, Campari, Carpano Antica, Pecan-Chicory Bitters)
"You set ‘em up, and I’ll knock ‘em back.”
We made our shrub when the cherries were perfectly ripe. This swizzle brings classic Tiki together with upstate flavors.
(Ron del Barrilito Aged Rum, Yellow Chartreuse, Cherry Shrub, Apple Cider, Pumpkin Seed Orgeat)
"I was robbed! I spent the whole night waiting for the Great Pumpkin, when I could have been out for tricks or treats.”
Earthy, buttery and warm like roasted winter squash; this cocktail is perfect for the season.
(Tapatio Reposado Tequila, Suze, Pumpkin Seed Orgeat, Cardamom Bitters, Butternut Airs)
Get your mind right with this spirit forward cocktail. Drink too many tonight and you’ll lose your head, drink a few tomorrow and you might find it again.
(Sazerac Rye, Ten-to-One Dark Rum, Mole Bitters, Pumpkin Seed Orgeat, Orange Peel)
A glass of Upstate New York. Local cider and maple syrup give our riff on a sidecar a seasonal spin.
(Coquerel Calvados, St. George Spiced Pear, Apple Cider, Maple Syrup)
Steel yourself against bad spirits. A supernatural burst of old and new world spices will warm you as the nights grow colder.
(O.P. Anderson Aquavit, Degroff Amaro, Honey Syrup, Cloves)
Just Fernet about it! An Amaro Sazerac with notes of Chocolate, Mint, and Coffee. Served up in a low-ball.
(Meletti Fernet, Braulio Amaro Alpino, Grand Brulot Coffee Cognac, Maple Syrup, Absinthe Rinse, Lemon Peel)
Pear, spice, and everything nice! Spiced pear liqueur, apple cider, and honey flavor this autumnal spritz.
(Zardetto Frizzante Prosecco, St. George Spiced Pear, Apple Cider, Honey Syrup, Star Anise)
We looked through books, scoured the internet, and taste tasted till the room was spinning to make sure these are the best versions of the classics!
Our non-espresso variant of this ubiquitous cocktail uses Albany’s Deathwish coffee vodka and Stewart’s Cold Brew to keep it super local.
(Awakened Spirit, Mr. Black, Stewart’s Cold Brew)
Get your Carrie Bradshaw energy flowing. We substitute the traditional Citron Vodka with our local Albany Distilling spirit.
(ADCO Vodka, Bravo Curacao, Lime Juice, Cranberry Juice)
This Pre-Prohibition classic was first served at the Detroit Athletic Club, circa 1915. This cocktail was a large part of the cocktail revival in the early 2000's and has inspired many popular equal-parts cocktails since.
(Tanqueray Gin, Green Chartreuse, Luxardo Maraschino, Lime Juice)
Bzzz.. BZZZZZZZ.... Bzzzzz. Bzzzz Bzzzzzzzzz. BZZZZZZZZZ. Bzzz. BZZZZZzzz... ...and lemon. It’s as good as it gets.
(Barr Hill Gin, Lemon Juice, Honey Syrup)
This Tiki classic was invented at Trader Vic’s in 1944. Don’t get this classic confused with the modern day spiked fruit punches that steal its name.
(Ron Del Barrilito Rum, Wray and Nephew Rum,
Gran Marnier, L’Orgeat, Lime Juice, Demerara Syrup)
Timeless and simple with only fresh lime juice, light rum, and a little sugar. This Cuban classic cocktail isn’t the overly sweet frozen-drink that comes from a blender.
(Bacardi, Lime Juice, Demerara Syrup)
This cocktail was created at “Death & Co.” in NYC by Joaquin Simo. We love our equal-parts cocktails, so it made it to our classic list.
(Vida Puebla Mezcal, Aperol, Yellow Chartreuse, Lime Juice)
Margarita who? The national drink of Mexico was actually first marketed by Squirt in the US. It was perfected south of the border with the addition of fresh lime juice and salt.

This modern version of the Last Word was developed by Sam Ross in 2008 and was named for the M.I.A. hit song “Paper Plane”
(Buffalo Trace, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, Lemon Juice)
Spirit, Sugar, Bitters... This cocktail harkens back to the origin of cocktails themselves. We use bonded whiskey from Long Island and two bitters from Angostura.
(Field and Sound Bourbon, Demerara Syrup, Angostura Aromatic and Orange Bitters)
Sam Ross makes a second appearance on the list with this smokey riff on a “Gold Rush”. Honey, lemon, and ginger are just what the doctor ordered.
(Monkey Shoulder Scotch, Ardbeg Wee Beastie Scotch, Lemon Juice, Honey Syrup, Ginger Syrup, Candied Ginger)
Make believe you’re in the French quarter. History says this is a health aid. Who are we to argue with the past?
